- Aravind Chadalavada not only that realise that we use the fuel for many unnecessary purposes. encourage the kids who go to colleges to use public transport and the parents also should make sure that their wards understand it. Simply throwing out one government will not be a solution the next government will also hike it if necessary. are you people throw out government which comes into power. think of a appropriate solution and set it as an example for one and all. simply talking will not do anything. put efforts in some manner and make sure that you will not need the government for everything but the government needs you.May 24 at 3:12pm · · 5

- Chandrasekhar Vedam Hari! Om! AC, PK, Am with you. We deserve this and more even as we are the culprits. We give and attach all undue value to anything and everything in this world and that is material. We are the Super Exploiters of the World, the People, the Natural Resources and find fault with the system and each other, “when its not at our Beck & Call”. The solution lies for everything relating to US ALL & THE WORLD lies in us only not anywhere else. The exchange in here can definitely bring each other more aware & or motivate. We need to learn from History. Simply remembering & garlanding the Mahatma and enjoying the government holiday takes us no where. Its like the proverb in Hindi, SAOW CHUHE KHAAKE BILLI HAJ KO CHALI. "Boycott" is the EXTREME word. Yes, as indicated by AC & seconded by PK, we should think together and reduce use of petrol. Expenses would reduce, gradually, price would fall and also the so called “Black Gold” is also saved for the future. Now we should not start giving excuses, these and that. ”Where there is a will, there is a way”. We all need to realise the responsiblity towards ourselves, each other, the World, The Nature. Small sacrifices & adjustments we need to make in any & all aspects of life. Fight & Struggle for the goal else suffer. The suffering also becomes struggle when we do it with an aim, in the Welfare of Future or Salvaging the World for the future. Time and again I have been trying to drive home this point. We only wake up for a while from our so called worldly pre-occupations, when only it affects our own individual selves, raise a hue & cry and then fall back to a deeper slumber. WHEN IS THE DAY WE ALL ARE AWAKE ALL THE TIME, IS THE QUESTION WE SHOULD PUT TO OURSELVES INCLUDING TO MYSELF.? This is actually JOLTER to all of us who are all very well learned, educated & wise enough, only that the pre-occupations is standing in front as a veil. Jai! Hind!May 25 at 3:15pm · · 2
- Chandrasekhar Vedam Hari! Om! The subject though here is "Rise in Petrol Prices". If we delve deeper it can be realised that the root cause is the SELFISHNESS which is prevailing and the REGARD, RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER & EACH OTHER'S STRENGHTS,WEAKNESSES,COMMI
TTMENTS & VALUES AND THE MUTUAL CO-EXISTENCE, WHICH IS AMISS.That's the reason in this "out-bursting " world population, we all are struggling INDIVIDUALLY, being competition to each other, generating fear of each other and trouble to each other, with th excuse of deveolping our own INDIVIDUAL SELVES.THIS IS THE GROUND REALITY AND THE ROOT CAUSE FOR ALL "EFFECTS & AFFECTS". Just as in Medicine, to cure a diesease, the Diagnosist goes to the root cause, similiarily, we all need to attack the root cause, though gradually & simultaneously, as we all are also facing a "Mental Disease", a psychosis. I don't know how many have read through my earlier posts in these columns and Blog. Have been trying to drive home just only this root point into the minds of all of us, including myself. Jai! Hind!
