THANKS GIVING TO PDA-CHENNAI,THE SOUVENIR TEAM & THE PD COMMUNITY

I don't know after over 5 months, if the Silver Jubilee Celebration Event of the PDA-Chennai or the Souvenir, brought out to commemorate the occasion,  is still alive in the minds of PDs or died down deep into the Individual Life routines. Being out of Country I missed the event which kept lingering in my mind all along with eagerness to at least possess a copy of the Souvenir and meet / interact with some PDs.

Having had  a month "RELEASE" from my professional responsibility, I managed  a couple of meetings with co-PDs' apart from spending good time with Family Members, Relatives,
finishing some urgent responsibilities, meeting certain personal  / professional committments and rushing back, again out of the Mother Land. During the course, I got the possession of my Souvenir, thanks to the PDA- Chennai, Secretary, also for his hospitality and interesting exchange.

I am thankful again,to all PDs', the PDA-Chennai & the PD Community for giving me an opportunity to pen down my thoughts & views on PD Community Cohesiveness, through my responses to a Questionnaire & a brief anecdote on a past PD Personality.

I hope PDs' had the time & patience to read through them and are coming out with views, comments,
suggestions,advices, criticisms. Welcome!

I definitely, had the patience, like many of us and took time out to read through the Souvenir, to know about the PD Personalities, their views etc, as a mark of respect  / regard to the Personalities and as a Gratitude to all of them who authored the various articles.

The life or career histories were  lovely eye openers, inspirers and an awareness creators for all.

I personally, got introduced to many PD Community Personalities & Stalwarts only now through
this Souvenir. That's the level of my awareness which is due to my own individual cirumstances
or It's the Humility of the Personalities.  Humility or No Lime Light is always the preference of any true Personality or Stalwart and among them all our PDs are at the top, in my opinion. Hats' Off'!!

I am just awestruck to know of those PDs and have no words to express in regard or praise of the
Personalities. Whatever best we try, wouldn't in anyway, justify to express the feelings & match the Characterestic, Quality, Intelligence, Calibre, Wisdom, the Community Spirit etc that the PD Personalities expressed in reality during their times.

The Authors of the anecdotes, were no less and have done full justice in drafting, keeping-up to the status of all the PD Personalities, that they were. The depths, most of the Authors delved in the anecdotes, were awe inspiring with an aspect in common to all and the Personalities themselves, which was nothing but the Humility & no aspiriation for Lime Light. I am sure most of the Authors personally experienced being with such Personalities and are blessed to be nurtured in similar environment. My best wishes to them all.

Reading through all the Life Histories, genuinely gave me an "out of the world experience" and I was also horripilating.

The awareness that the Souvenir has created among all PDs, of the Personalities & the PD Community spirit, should be taken forward, considering this effort as a "Runway" for a smooth & safe landing for the PD Community & our future.

I am sure PDAs' are putting all efforts towards PD Community Oneness. Only that what PDs' SHOULD UNDERSTAND FROM THE WORD "ASSOCIATION", IS THE INDIVIDUAL PDs' CO-OPERATION, which I hope every PD would appreciate is the "need of the hour", else the
PDA or the PD Community Oneness is not effective. We are the ones to make it effective or
ineffective.

The PDAs' are often blamed and found fault with. Here we should not forget the famous saying.
"When I point a finger at others, I should remember, 3 fingers are pointing towards myself", on realizing this, automatically things start changing and improving.  I SINCERELY PRAY FOR
THE SUCCESS OF THE PD COMMUNITY ONENESS, ALL PDS' & PDAs'.

Let's hope for the best and get together. Thanks again to one and all,

PD ASSOCIATION CHENNAI SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS

I hope the New Year with the Pongal / Sankranthi Festival has begun with lots of Good Prospects for all PDs'. I also hope all the preparations & arrangements for the GRAND celebrations of the SILVER JUBILEE of the PD Association Chennai, is going in full swing, with all the able & active support / co-operation / contribution of the Members.

On this occasion of the Silver Jubilee Year, I am of the opinion, a Narrative on the following :

Inception & History of the PD Association Chennai(PDA-C)
Achievement & Milestones
Role of Significance played in the Society
Welfare Measures undertaken
Community Integration Steps / Actions
Future Plans & Vision for the Community
Progress Monitoring Mechanism

Would be a good EYEOPENER / INSPIRER / MOTIVATOR to PDs’ especially those UNAWARE of even the very existence of the PDA-C.

This apart, an Awareness / Motivation Programme for Youngsters / Presently, active generation may be devised and implemented, for the FUTURE of the PDs’, PD COMMUNITY & the ASSOCIATION itself.

This would generate some interaction, give some Clarity of Understanding on the Aims & Requirements of the PDA-C. It can identify Members & Non-Member PDs’ Capabilities, Support Requirements, Members’ Co-operation to be rendered and thus make the PDA-C, mutually beneficial and also MEANINGFUL, keeping-up the name, “ASSOCIATION”, its reputation within the PD Community and the Society in general.

I take this opportunity to share once again my thoughts on what an Association is ( Shared, repeated many a times, in various VIRTUAL LOBBIES / PLATFORMS). It’s very highly interactive, pro-active, mutually supportive & beneficial.

Funding is an additional option, in my opinion. Though the success or stability of an Association is from the formers, The latter one is an attraction, ironically also the catalyst for the failure or a retarder , in most cases. No worry, the ways to tackle this is in the FORMERS only.

All these so called Associations are by us. We have to MAKE them & sadly we only MAR them, by our own UNDER or OVER actions and blame each other.

With all due regards to every body, I perceive that there is also a wrong concept of Association. That it is, only by the Office Bearers, their responsibility & job to facilitate all welfare measures, what ever, non-funding / funding both. Without Individual members understanding / co-operation there is no Association.

I am sure most of our Intelligent, Learned, Talented, Matured, Wise, Energetic PDS’ are much more aware and have much better understanding of all these. But the only thing lacking is INITIATIVE, which is driven by one’s inner
Attitude, Inclination & to put into Practice, which we often shy-off, play second fiddle and or “Pass on the Baby”.

No one is to be / can be / should be blamed, though, USING the TYPICAL PHRASE, “All PDs’ are like that” OR NAMBLAVAA ELLAM IPPIDI DHAAN”. Its actually & ultimately BOILS DOWN to BASIC HUMAN TENDENCY and nothing exclusive to PDs’.

The PD’s primary trait of VERSATILE ADAPTABILITY should be used more positively, dynamically, aggressively & effectively and with a COMMUNITY PERSPECTIVE. The misgivings, Over aspirations, Possessive attitudes & other
such weaknesses should be MADE-UP with.

THUS WE CAN BEGIN AND GO ON AND ON WITH A WONDERFUL ASSOCIATION.

ACTIVE SUPPORT FOR PD ASSOCIATION

Well Ladies & Gentlemen of the PD! I have seen all the "lovely wishes".In this process of communicating wishes, sweet pleasantries, let us not forget its "AN ASSOCIATION", that we are talking about, which means to associate. Hope we all still remember "the property of Associativity" that supposedly we all studied in our elementary school Mathematics. For the ready reference here it is again; a + b = b + a; a*b = b*a. This literally means we need to interact or exchange support etc beyond any restrictions or worldly conditions. NOW THIS IS ONLY AN EXAMPLE, NOW PLEASE DON'T GET CARRIED AWAY WITH IT OR GET INVOLVED IN IT. MANY OF US MAY HAVE VERY MANY WONDERFUL EXAMPLES MORE RELEVANT, ITS ONLY TO DRIVE HOME THE POINT. It may be we are focusing on our PD Community now ( due to realization of the Importance of the Oneness Feeling, that we apparently feel, is possible only with People with whom we share certain commonalities, with our conditioned and prejudiced Mind). However, this is misconstrued.This attitude could also be our Neighborhood, Colony, Area, Town, City, State, Region, Country, The Continent, Why, even the World of People also. Well coming back to our subject of our PD Community, let us all question ourselves independently including this COMMENTATOR,and share the analysis between us, how associative am I, or How interactive, how supportive or how communicative or how outspoken or how OPEN I am with the MIND? And what is that I feel about anything or anyone beyond MY SO CALLED PHYSICAL BODY? Am I very possessive about my physical body and indifferent beyond its boundaries? Or Am I possessive about both Or Am I Rather Indifferent about both.What is that I am capable of doing for anything or something beyond myself, for the society or community?Anything as a deed or as a thought with a selfless attitude is in itself Noble. So let us not restrict our thought process itself. We all need to have sessions of Introspection and retrospection and share through interactions. That's how we all need to go about it all. AND THEN ONLY WE CAN THINK OF A SUCCESS OF AN ASSOCIATION. IT ISN'T A ONE MAN SHOW. AN ASSOCIATION IS SOMETHING OF A MORE THAN ONE INDIVIDUAL. Of course we all know it all. In fact there may many among us who could write volumes of books through sheer knowledge. But the point is how much is the application in life and how aware I am of the concept at any random point of time. That would indicate us What we are actually, Where we are,Where we need to go and How far we need to go. SO TO CONCLUDE, LET US ALL PUT CONCERTED EFFORT FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE ASSOCIATION OR THE COMMUNITY (THE SUPER SET)ITSELF. I also thank one and all for lending their valuable time out of busy schedule for giving a patient reading of this unusually lengthy comment in these columns. JAI ! HIND!

Awareness Response among PDs

Dear PDs'

Very happy to hear of the overwhelming response to the wake-up call for PDs to get together. I have observed mixed response of enthusiasm, frustration, indifference, wisdom etc etc, apparently  due to individual and group experiences.I am sure anyone or everyone would agree that one should have a clarity of thought, goal, the path and the action. This unique process chain applies to every aspect of life and thus applies here as well. This is nothing new and definitely we are well aware and many of us may even be capable of debating, lecturing or even researching on this subject.

The catch is the emotion, the character of the mind, takes control of  the intellect and with its various attachments  turns the intellect into an invalid (incapable to analyze,rationalize, contemplate or decide)and there comes the litmus test. Even the most enlightened of the souls are susceptible to this.This is not to discourage but is only to caution in our path to reach our goal.

I pray to all the PD Community including me as I am keying in this piece, to have this jotted down in their minds clearly prior to getting into the process. Further any sort of attachment to any part of the process is detrimental. The thought of not having attachment can by itself turn into an attachment. Thus we need to be very careful.

With the above introduction, when we talk of forming friends, groups, associations, which is our mutual interest. Firstly, we need to question ourselves including myself, is forming all these and generating a member strength our goal or do we have an ultimate goal or a long vision? When we have the answer to this we automatically proceed further, that is the power of the mind / intellect. If we dont get an answer for ourselves, means we are puzzled and are circling in a whirl pool. This happens when we are driven by the emotions of our mind to act.

Next, we need to be very clear of the ground realities and superimpose our goal with the reality and look for the vision, then plan the action and proceed in the chosen path without any attachments at the start or en-route. Its like the jobs of an Architect and a Civil Engineer or Builders.

I would like to make it clear that, I am not averse to forming or maintaining these associations. In fact I am mighty encouraged and inspired to hear so many people aware of the need of true associations and initiating actions.If, we attach ourselves to anything, that's it we are gone. But one thing, Wonder of Wonders!! no words to express, we all life forms have such a mental mechanism together with a synchronizing biological one that we always keep getting cautions, knocks & shocks in our lives to alert us.

Therefore,let us clearly understand every thought, plan & action in relevance to the goals and monitor the progress. Then we know where we are, which itself will caution us. Its like the cellphone service provider messaging us when entering new area.

I personally, am aiming at a very highly exhaustive association between all of us and look forward to  put in immense effort in the direction for our PD Community.

PD Association AGB Meeting @ Nellore; 25th December 2010

I have the info on the AGBM and of the assoication at Nellore.Congrats to all the members including the office bearers for the decesion on the AGBM. I wish all concerned a grand success of the Event.

I am not a member as such. However, evince a keen interest to be a part and provide active participation and contribution as I too ...have similar community feeling for PDs', being a PD myself. I leave it to the honourable members and the AGB OB / EC to offer their views / preferences on this and inform accordingly.

For the present, from outside the Assoication, I have some suggestions.

* A presentation of the PD website etc could be tabled for the awareness of all
* An assoication / meeting online could be devised for more attendance & thus
active participation
* A mutual co-operation between the Association & PD website, something of a
"hand in glove" could be thought of , understanding the power of the
communication potential that the website holds and the Noble Cause the
Assoication is into
* An agenda could be drafted & distributed among the members prior to AGBM
and discussed at the AGBM
* Proceedings, conclusions & results of the AGBM and or Photo / Video shots of
the AGBM could be uploaed on the PD website or anywhere on the Internet
* A regular informal progress meeting could also be organized for detailing and
smooth procedence of the future AGBMs

THOUGH I AM NOT A MEMBER, FOR THE PRESENT I AM AVAILABLE FOR ALL THE SUPPORT FROM OUTSIDE AS PER DIRECTIVE OF THE HONOURABLE MEMBERS / EC FOR ANY & ALL OF THE SUGGESTIONS OR FOR ANYTHING ELSE IN THIS WORLD FOR THE TRUE CAUSE OF & IN THE INTEREST OF THE PD COMMUNITY.

PLEASE FEEL FREE AND DO NOT HESITATE TO REVERT FOR ANYTHING IN THIS REGARD.

Dear PDs'

I am mighty pleased to be in touch with you all again. I look forward to more and more interaction between us all through exchange of our details of various kind and views on PD community and ideas on developing our community, support the PD Website and PD Associations.

I request all PDs across the Globe for having  regular get together and update all PDs' across the Globe on the same.

A couple of us met in Chennai in June end of this year. I am of the opinion we should meet again and extend special invitations to PD Associations; their members, Office bearers and Executive Committees.

Would some one kindly throw some light on the PD Associations, their office bearers, Executive Committee members with their contact details etc  to enable active support and awareness.

Incidentally, I understand a meeting takes place end of every year at Nellore. Could someone let me know more details of this.

I have been in touch with you all  PDs' in the past few months through a series of emails on the subject of PD Oneness. And understand from a past isolated feedback, of your interest in to know more about PDs', history.

In this interest and subject cause, I am appealing on behalf of all PDs to join together towards a unity and thus be supportive to each other in all endeavours.

I am sure you would have understood my background and also would have gone through the PD website, which highlights the unsaid message of effort for oneness of our community through associations.

WAKE-UP CALL FOR A CONTINUED GET TOGETHER SENT ON 22ND SEPTEMBER 2010

Dear PDs',

How are we all doing? Glad to be in touch again. Hope we all still remember something on the above subject and also that a couple of months ago, a couple of us got together at Chennai.

Definitely, we all are getting together somewhere or the other across the globe, only that the information has not percolated through many of us possibly due to some error in emai transmission.

Why not we get together again and think more seriously on the above subject, like many of us are already very seriously into.Hope more people are open and also available to meet this time.

Could somebody also through some light on the PD Associations that are supposedly existing and active. The sender of this email is interested to know the activities of the PD Aassociations, Individual PDs' active in the various Associations and their contact details.

The idea is to extend active support, guide organize and participate in any events whatsoever.
