* Behaviours that build the Team must work Hand in Hand on Activities that promote the completion of Team Tasks
* A relaxed internal team climate calls for a parallel concern for building effective Relationships with key players
* A concern for results and people must be seen in the context of a shared vision and long term goals
* Team Vision, Mission Statement and goals have limited value, unless the are backed up by action steps
* Mission, goals and action plans can become derailed by a failure to clarify expectations of Team Members
* Influence must be based on Technical Competence, Knowledge and Skills rather than personal whim or power plays
* Promote an atmosphere that encourages personal and emotional expression as well as task oriented behaviour
* Make allowances for human bias, accept the inevitability of conflict and permit mediation
