COMMENTARY ON THE SURPIRSE / JUBLIATION OVER DISCOVERY OF LORD NARASIMHA VIGRAHA IN GERMANY

Hari! Om!

Well! No doubt its a wonderful discovery and re-construction.On its finding in Germany and what all have opined or commented, primarily, I would like to quote a Theory, as per which the Earth had a single large land mass of Climat...es from Tropical-Temperate-Mediternean to Polars, the rest all (3 quarter)water, a 50 to 100 thousand years ago, may be even earlier also, no one really knows. There were a lot of civilizations / habitations a homogenous lot, with disciplined distribution.Over a period of so many years or ages due to various & series of catastrophes, such as Volcanoes, Earth Quakes, Tsunamis etc, lot of civilizations got submerged deep under the sea,lot many land masses emerged out and new civilizations grew and the Original land mass got drifted and drifted apart to what we see, hear or talk about. We talk of the Highest Mountain Peaks, The Everests, The Himalayas, The Alps, The Andes etc etc. There are many many such mountain peaks much much taller deep under the sea than these. Its a deduction of Scientific Logic, Ocean Geological & Genological / Anthropological Studies. It used to be  MOST advanced of the civilizations, much much beyond the imaginations of all the present people in the world put together. Its not possible for us to achieve such advancements for ages. Whatever advancements that we think as great achievements or are so proud of are just nothing at all. Findings are definitely bound to be there from east to west north to south anywhere across.

MAJOR CONTRIBUTION TO THE CATASTROPHES IS OF THE HUMANITY BY SUPER EXPLOITATIONS OF THE MOTHER EARTH. IN THE NAME OF ADVANCEMENTS & DEVELOPMENTS , WE SEE IN FRONT OF OURSELVES, HOW WE ARE EXPLOITING,IMAGINE WITH THE KIND OF ADVANCEMENTS THAT I AM TALKING OF HOW OR OF WHAT LEVEL WOULD HAVE BEEN THE EXPLOITATIONS BY OUR AGE OLD PREDESSORS.

WHAT IS RAINBOW TO HUMANITY

Hari! Om!

Rainbow is something like refresher, and one that symbolizes for us to go beyond the horizon and achieve. Further ...it also symbolizes the all in one from what we see, the Monochromatic Beam of light. The Unity in diversity. So many colors we see in the Rainbow, but they are all together and are formed of a single monochromatic beam of light. AND SO WE AS HUMANS SHOULD TAKE THE HIDDEN MESSAGE TO BE LIKE A RAINBOW, TRY & ACHIEVE THE IMPOSSIBLE, BE OBJECTIVE IN LIFE, TREAT ALL BEINGS AND ALSO NON-BEINGS AS EQUAL GIVING EVERYTHING ITS DUE VALUE AND BE EVER REFRESHED.

Rainbow  is a phenomenon resulting from a Refraction-Reflection-Refraction process of light in a water droplet. We too as human beings with our higher thinking capabilities need to introspect, retrospect, contemplate and reflect ...upon the various aspects of ourselves, the world, its people and conduct ourselves (ie. the final refraction part of the process) accordingly with ourselves and the World.

THIS CAN BE AN INTENT USE OF RAINBOW FOR US HUMAN BEINGS TO REMIND US TO LIVE UP TO HUMAN STATUS.

LEARNING IN LIFE - PRICELESS & ETERNAL

A QUOTATION

I came to realize that we learn something from everyone who passes through our lives; some lessons are painful, some are painless, but ... all are priceless!

THE COMMENTARY
Learning ,Well! is an endless pursuit, until our ULTIMATE aim is achieved. Whatever we may be doing in all our lives, right from Birth to Death and even after that, we are all the ...time in this pursuit to reach OUR ULTIMATE GOAL, knowingly or unknowingly. In the process of our life activities or routine, we keep learning and learning and learning and that keeps us REFINING ourselves, our thought process, our actions, outlook etc, thus exhausting or burning our vasanas (desires) and clearing our path to the GOAL. These learning processes are nothing but the PURUSHARTHA ( Self Effort). The beauty and the saving grace is the effort does not go waste and gets carried forward to the NEXT as PRARABDHAA( State of Inertia) until there is absolute refinement and exhaustion of all desires. The lessons and their related pains, painlessness or their values or priceless-ness that we attach are nothing but results of our constant sessions of introspections - retrospections.

I am sure its nothing new and is well known Age Old, highly scientific and most advanced of the principles of the HINDU tradition that is beyond all TIME.

THE MAHABHARATA WAR, MODERN MANAGEMENT & SCIENCE

THE MAHABHARATA WAR, MODERN MANAGEMENT & SCIENCE
NOTE : THIS PIECE / POST IS NOT MY CREATION OR COMPILATION BUT JUST RE-PRODUCED FROM
THE INTERNET, LANGUAGE & PRESENTATION EDITED  WITH THE INTEREST TO SHARE THE KNOWLEDGE, FOR MUTUAL BENEFIT, THAT'S ALL.
BACKGROUND
The Mahabharata, claimed to be written around 3000 B.C. ( May be even Before)is known to be the second longest EPIC of the World. It’s a Buffet of Ideologies.
We all know the story of how PANDAVA BROTHERS were exiled for 13 Years by the KAURAVA BROTHERS
And how at the end were compelled to the Great War.
THE LOGISTICS
Kauravas        :      11 Akshouini ;  Pandavas    :      7 Akshouini
( 1 Akshouhini = 21,870 Chariots, 21870 Elephants, 65,610 Horses & 109,350 Foot- Soldier -Ratio 1:1:3:5)
STILL THE PANDAVAS WON THE BATTLE, HOW ?? APPLYING MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES.
PREPARATION :
Kauravas subdued different Kingdoms & acquired wealth by country-wide military mission.
Pandavas, in exile turned their attention to improving over their weaknesses.  Arjuna Missioned to acquire Divya astras; Bhima got his strengths enhanced with  Brother Hanuman’s blessings; Yudhisthira acquired teaching from wise Rishis and learnt the game of Dice from Gandharva Chitrasena & became undefeatable in the game.
MANAGEMENT LESSON NO. 1 : TURN YOUR WEAKNESSES INTO YOUR STRENGTHS

LEADERSHIP:
Kauravas  had centralized leadership with One Head or Supreme Commander at a time for all the forces, ie. Bhisma, Drona, Karna, Shalya & Ashwatthama.
Pandavas distributed their leadership. 7 Commanders for their 7 Divisions, ie. Virat, Drupad, Sahadeva, Dhrshtaketu, Satyaki, Shikhandi & Dhrshtadymna as Commander in Chief; Arjuna as Supreme Commander;  Krishna as Counselor
MANAGEMENT LESSON NO.2 : SHARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

ALLIES :
Kauravas, greatest empire of the time, centralized power but not many powerful Allies. Only from old relations from far off places, as Ghandhar(Shakuni), Sindhu(Jayadrath) & Camboja(Bhagadutt)
Pandavas  had no power or wealth of their own but had powerful allies from all over India. Panchala through Marriage with Draupadi; Dwarka through marriage with Arjuna & Subhadra ; Magadh through marriage of Shadeva and Vijaya; Chedi through marriage of Nakula and Karenmayi; Kasi through marriage of Bhima and Balandhara; Kekaya through marriage of Yudhisthira and Devika; Matsya through marriage of Abhimanyu and Uttara; The Rakshasas through marriage of Bhima and Hidimba; The Nagas through marriage of Arjuna and Uloopi.
MANAGEMENT LESSON NO. 3 : MAKE POWERFUL ALLIES

TEAM SPIRIT :
Kauravas had no team spirit. They all fought their individual wars. Bhisma, for his vow to protect the throne of Hastinapur ; Dhrona & Kripa, owing allegiance to the throne; Shalya, simply cheated by Duryodhana to be there, originally, Pandavaa ally; Karna, to prove his mantle against Arjuna and friendship for Duryodhana; They didn’t gel well with each other.
Pandavas, had 1 team, 1 goal. As men, they all had huge respect for Krishna and Yudhisthira. While as warriors they were in complete awe for Bhima and Arjuna. Most of them were close relatives and were all part of decision making process. The war was a COMMON war.
MANAGEMENT LESSON NO.4 : TEAMWORK DEFINITELY SUCCEEDS WHEREAS INDIVIDUAL EFFORTS  MAY FAIL.

INDIVIDUAL MOTIVES :
Kauravas, except for Duryodhana, no one wanted the War. All the 4 main Generals had close ties with Pandavas. Bhisma, Drona, Shalya, Karna. A team of traitors(from the Kaurava point of view)
Pandavas, Though all had a common goal, yet individuals had their own targets & agenda which became one with the Team’s agenda.
Dhrastadyumna – Drona; Shikhandi – Bhisma; Satyaki – Bhurisravas; Arjuna – Karna; Bhima – Duryodhana Sahadeva – Shakuni; Nakula – Karna

MANAGEMENT LESSON NO. 5: THE RIGHT TEAM IS MADE BY SELECTING THE RIGHT INDIVIDUALS. GET THE RIGHT MAN FOR THE RIGHT JOB
COMMITMENT :
Kaurvas, Bhisma gave away the secret to  kill him, prolonged the war and did not fight like a true warrior; Dhrona too gave away his secret of invulnerability with weapons which he abandoned; Karna did not kill Yudhisthira & Bhima when had a chance and gave away his Kavach & Kundala prior to the War. He did not save Dushasana when Bhima was killing him; Shalya kept insulting Karna in the Battle field.
Pandavas, Abhimanyu ventured beyond enemy lines alone, though suicidal, took great part of the Army down with him.; Ghatotkach even in death took with him almost half the Kaurava Army; Yudhisthira knew couldn’t face Karna in war, still went in to set an example and did not hesitate to tell a twisted truth, when faced with a decision between PERSONAL INTEGRITY & TEAM WELFARE; Krishna took-up arms twice despite his promise, only to be stopped by Arjuna.
MANAGEMENT LESSON NO.6 : THE INTERESTS OF THE INDIVIDUALS SHOULD NEVER EXCEED THE TEAM INTEREST & THE BEST MAN FOR A JOB IS NOT THE ONE WITH THE BEST CAPABILITIES BUT ONE WITH THE GREATEST COMITTMENT

RIGHT MANAGERS :
Krishna, the greatest crisis manager we can think of; Yudhisthira, a low-key strategist, played a Master Game, going over to Enemy side in the guise of seeking blessings of Elders but actually making a deal for help, by getting the secrets of defeating them; Yudhisthira, also took a calculated risk of making an offer to all to change sides, if wanted. Yuyutsu, crossed over to Pandavas.
This exposed the Kauravas weakness of lack of cohesiveness.
MANAGEMENT LESSON NO. 7 : KNOW YOUR ENEMIES WEAKNESSES AND EXPLOIT THEM. TAKE CALCULATED RISKS. INSPIRE, INVIGORATE, COUNSEL YOUR OWN TEAM IN MOMENTS OF NEED

THE ROOTS :
Kauravas, Princes, brought up in the comfort of royal palace. No experience of GROUND REALITIES
Pandavas, spent greatest part of their lives in poverty, among rishis, among poor, in vanavas; Had experience with ground realities, interaction & association with various classes of people, different races of people and had a sense of sharing & brotherhood.
MANAGEMENT LESSON NO.8 : KNOW GROUND REALITIES, DIFFERENT IDEOLOGIES & SHARE

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT :
Kauravas, patriarchal structure; No women in decision making. No one listened to Gandhari.
Pandavas, Matriarchal Structure, Kunti was Supreme for the Pandavas; Draupadi was a companion to Pandava actions and played key role in decision making; Younger Pandavas were brought-up by their Mothers and had great female influence.
MANAGEMENT LESSON NO. 8 : WOMEN = BETTER HALF. TEAM WITHOUT WOMEN IS UN-BALANCED
FOR MASCULINE TRAITS OF AGGRESSION & DOMINANCE A BALANCE WITH FEMININE TRAITS OF HARMONY & SUSTENANCE IS MANDATORY FOR SUCCESS

Its told there were also mind boggling revelations of various disciplines  in The Mahabharata, as :
·         Astronomy : Existence of Uranus ( Shwetha) & Neptune (Ksharaka)
·         Geography : Lands as far as Cambodia (Kamboja), Kazakhistan or Scandinavia( Uttarakuru)
·         Mathematics : Numbers to the range of 10 to the power of 16 & -16
·         Artillery  : Resembling most advanced of the Modern  Weaponry, including Chemical & Nuclear
Weapons.
·         Complex Military Formations & Strategies
·         Other disciplines as Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Spirituality, Religion, Politics
SUMMARY :
* TURN YOUR WEAKNESSES INTO STRENGTHS
* TURN ENEMIES INTO ALLIES
* SHARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* TEAMWORK SCORES OVER INDIVIDUAL EFFORT
* RIGHT TEAM = RIGHT SET OF INDIVIDUALS; RIGHT MAN FOR THE RIGHT JOB
* COMMITMENT SCORES OVER COMPETENCE
* TEAM INTERESTS OVER INDIVIDUAL INTERESTS
* KNOW YOUR ENEMY / CHALLENGES. EXPLOIT ITS WEAKNESSES, TAKE CALCULATED
   RISKS
* THE RIGHT MANAGERS - TO INSPIRE, INVIGORATE, COUNSEL IN CRISIS
* KNOW GROUND REALITIES. ACCEPT DIFFERENT IDEOLOGIES. CO-OPERATE
* EMPOWER WOMEN. THE GENDER BALANCE IS REQUIRED FOR STABILITY AND
   ADMINISTRATION

PD ASSOCIATION CHENNAI SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS

Hari! Om!

I hope the New Year with the Pongal / Sankranthi Festival has begun with lots of Good Prospects for all PDs'. I also hope all the preparations & arrangements for the GRAND celebrations of the SILVER JUBILEE of the PD Association Chennai, is going in full swing, with all the able & active support / co-operation / contribution of the Members.

On this occasion of the Silver Jubilee Year, I am of the opinion, a Narrative on the following :

Inception & History of the PD Association Chennai(PDA-C)
Achievement & Milestones
Role of Significance played in the Society
Welfare Measures undertaken
Community Integration Steps / Actions
Future Plans & Vision for the Community
Progress Monitoring Mechanism

Would be a good EYEOPENER / INSPIRER / MOTIVATOR to PDs’ especially those UNAWARE of even the very existence of the PDA-C.

This apart, an Awareness / Motivation Programme for Youngsters / Presently, active generation may be devised and implemented, for the FUTURE of the PDs’, PD COMMUNITY & the ASSOCIATION itself.

This would generate some interaction, give some Clarity of Understanding on the Aims & Requirements of the PDA-C. It can identify Members & Non-Member PDs’ Capabilities, Support Requirements, Members’ Co-operation to be rendered and thus make the PDA-C, mutually beneficial and also MEANINGFUL, keeping-up the name, “ASSOCIATION”, its reputation within the PD Community and the Society in general.

I take this opportunity to share once again my thoughts on what an Association is ( Shared, repeated many a times, in various VIRTUAL LOBBIES / PLATFORMS). It’s very highly interactive, pro-active, mutually supportive & beneficial.

Funding is an additional option, in my opinion. Though the success or stability of an Association is from the formers, The latter one is an attraction, ironically also the catalyst for the failure or a retarder , in most cases. No worry, the ways to tackle this is in the FORMERS only.

All these so called Associations are by us. We have to MAKE them & sadly we only MAR them, by our own UNDER or OVER actions and blame each other.

With all due regards to every body, I perceive that there is also a wrong concept of Association. That it is, only by the Office Bearers, their responsibility & job to facilitate all welfare measures, what ever, non-funding / funding both. Without Individual members understanding / co-operation there is no Association.

I am sure most of our Intelligent, Learned, Talented, Matured, Wise, Energetic PDS’ are much more aware and have much better understanding of all these. But the only thing lacking is INITIATIVE, which is driven by one’s inner
Attitude, Inclination & to put into Practice, which we often shy-off, play second fiddle and or “Pass on the Baby”.

No one is to be / can be / should be blamed, though, USING the TYPICAL PHRASE, “All PDs’ are like that” OR NAMBLAVAA ELLAM IPPIDI DHAAN”. Its actually & ultimately BOILS DOWN to BASIC HUMAN TENDENCY and nothing exclusive to PDs’.

The PD’s primary trait of VERSATILE ADAPTABILITY should be used more positively, dynamically, aggressively & effectively and with a COMMUNITY PERSPECTIVE. The misgivings, Over aspirations, Possessive attitudes & other
such weaknesses should be MADE-UP with.

THUS WE CAN BEGIN AND GO ON AND ON WITH A WONDERFUL ASSOCIATION.

OUR ESP- Is it Instincts in Women?

Hari! Om!

All beings have a natural instincts, including Plants & Animals. We use them in taking
crucial decisions, safe guarding etc. In my opinion,it is nothing but a default setting
within our subconscious. Its proved to be very correct & realistic.

Generally, we don't use our instincts due to logical reasoning, fear, egoistic tendencies,
mechanical life or simply due to not being aware.

Women are known & said to be very highly instinctive, whether Men agree or not. Someone
also suggested, "Trust Women's instinct than a Man's reason.

We are often landing into problems in our lives due to cirumstances or decision effects of
LOGICS over INSTINCTS, dubbing instincts as irrational.

Women's instinct shape's the life, whether at family, career or love. Its usual for everyone to
follow the heart when coming to Romance. The present day Women's instinct is a perfect blend
of the  heart & head. Instincts are rare to make a mistake in chosing life partner.

The instincts give us the intution to foresee the future, for a woman, her life with a particular
person. Women are naturally endowed with the ability to nurture and care, love and to protect
which affects life, work & society.

Interest in Human Relationships, patience , open to view people's problems are womenly instincts
that help do better in any arena and to be Leader. As a Mother, as a Wife or as a Daughter.

It's also often said, "behind every man's success is a woman". A man's reason coupled with woman's instinct are ideal for a home or family & its harmony. For any man's success, the secret is, his womenly  instinct.

There are a lot of episodes of my own life, my childhood and even now to suffice that its' the Woman's Gut Feeling that has a crucial role. Yes it is the Women's ESP.

I am sure you all agree to this with your own experiences, thoughts & INSTINCTS!
