I am mighty pleased to be in touch with you all again. I look forward to more and more interaction between us all through exchange of our details of various kind and views on PD community and ideas on developing our community, support the PD Website and PD Associations.
I request all PDs across the Globe for having regular get together and update all PDs' across the Globe on the same.
A couple of us met in Chennai in June end of this year. I am of the opinion we should meet again and extend special invitations to PD Associations; their members, Office bearers and Executive Committees.
Would some one kindly throw some light on the PD Associations, their office bearers, Executive Committee members with their contact details etc to enable active support and awareness.
Incidentally, I understand a meeting takes place end of every year at Nellore. Could someone let me know more details of this.

How are you, your family, and all near & dear doing? Hope this finds you all in the peak of health, spirits and prosperity. I have been in touch with you all PDs' in the past few months through a series of emails on the subject of PD Oneness. And understand from a past isolated feedback, of your interest in to know more about PDs', history.
In this interest and subject cause, I am appealing on behalf of all PDs to join together towards a unity and thus be supportive to each other in all endeavours.
I am sure you would have understood my background and also would have gone through the PD website, which highlights the unsaid message of effort for oneness of our community through associations.
To continue further with the process, please do be kind enough to share your lineage or family background and other details and also provide some feedback for the website.
Any support for the community, associations or website is most welcome from all of you. Kindly be informed that the website, which is a world accessible communication channel, shall also publish credits to the PDs' for whatever effort or support is rendered.

A REFRESHER TO THE ORIGINAL CAMPAIGN FOR PD COMMUNITY AWARENESS CIRCULATED BY EMAIL ON 14TH APRIL 2010
Dear All PDs'; Hari! Om! On the occasion of “Thamizh Varsha Pirappu”& taking the privilege & freedom this is to wish all of us for eternal happiness, prosperity and well being . These wishes are based on the trust that we still follow the tradition, despite the Royal Decree of The Tamizh Naadu Arasar, to celebrate the event jointly with Pongal, during the Thai or Phusyam Maasam. It’s a blessing for us from our Ancestors that we PDs’ have this unique pair of events to celebrate, ie. Ugadi – Tamizh Varsha Pirappu. It may be that very few communities across the globe would have such a privilege of celebrating the events of two different states, forget communities. Probably it’s a deep message from The Almighty, with the mantle given to us PDs’ to bridge the gap between the states of Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu, to set examples to others and thus in the process get owned by both Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh unlike in the present. Refreshing the thoughts of awareness for our PD Community with this email, in continuation to the Campaign through my previous email, let us touch upon a couple of points from the campaign, * Oneness feeling for all PDs’ * Propagating the awareness message * know each other better * Constant interaction The campaign will be available on www.pudurdravida.com for any ready reference. The original Campaign was sent on 8th of March 2010 and subsequently also appended to the UGADI WISHES. The attempt was to reach to all the PD population across the globe, of course with all our support. With this idea, the known email ids’ have been approached through the Campaign for awareness and to propagate further through the PD Community, exhaustively. We are a definitely a significant population on the globe, to the extent that we could even turn a movement, if we join together. It’s appreciated that we are all pre-occupied with our own series of activities, commitments, responsibilities, problems of communication accessibility, or non-receipt of the emails, problems or may be some confusion of very understanding of the concept etc. Despite all this a couple of prompt though isolated response were received for the Campaign, in the positive. Our whole PD Community is thankful to the owners of those email ids’ for the interest shown in the direction on Oneness Thoughts for the PD Community. An overwhelming feedback on the website is also appreciating & supportive. Of course we are also definitely thankful to each other for bearing with these couple of pages of messages. “The success of any kind of such concepts are possible as a whole and not in isolation”, can very well be understood and convince anyone. We are talking of Community Oneness and therefore cannot restrict to individuals. The appeal to all of us is for Individuals’ awareness for the Community’s Oneness. The oneness feeling, at least, could definitely be nascent & inert in each one of us, the message or the campaign could already be under propagation and many of us may already be aware of each other. However, the nascent, inert should mature, turn active, may be reactive and critical or proactive also. The propagation could also be a transparent one. Most importantly we should know each other better, literally our names, family background, linkages, whereabouts, activities. Of course, only if it is not that personal within the PD Community or felt unnecessary for the Community Cause. There could also be an opinion as, “ No Community or why Community feeling”. By now it could be well understood by all that the campaign is not a promotion drive. There are a couple of formal associations within our PD Community and definitely this is no competition to any of them or any in the making, if it so perceived. In fact this Campaign would definitely generate awareness and motivate PDs’ to support & co-operate the associations and make them a success and take our PD Community to global arena. As human beings, we are supposed to keep up to Human Status, by using our intellects, deciding on choice of action & aiming for the higher ideal. Similarly, as a PD’ian, we should keep up to the word Association by truly associating, instead of merely giving it a formal status and utilizing for worldly needs. Why not we use the privilege that we have that other life forms don’t have? Thus avoid getting termed as “Herds” and in the process at least be instrumental in a Community Awareness Cause. There are many associations across the globe, at global level too, that are still a success in the truest sense but still don’t hold any formal status of an association. There is one other important point that we can focus, apart from the rest, is the “PD Bhashai”. There could be definite support to the PD Community Cause in reviving the PD Bhashai. It isn’t any new idea, of course. There are Government State or Central & other NGOs’ at least in India & many western countries who have worked in the past and are still working on Projects of Revival on varied subjects. Probably, we could start to deliberately speak among ourselves and generate an awareness of its existence to the unawares. The Family trees could also be developed and placed on the WWW, just an another point to add. It’s definitely justified in repeating the advantage of the modern communication technologies for the benefit of generations, out of the presently active. This could enable PDs’ inaccessible or unaccustomed to the modern tools to use them and thus get easy and swift way in for supporting the Community Oneness Cause. The PD website & the newsletters as we all know are productions of the modern communication technologies and we can go further and make them live with regular & consistent interaction. Support for regular updates on various aspects, be it an event, history or data base from any quarter, is definitely welcomed, supposedly, by the Website Moderator. Inclusion of PD Bhashai in the website or newsletter is another good suggestion, for its revival. To make it “ All in One” links to thoughts and discussions by learned philosophers across the Globe could be uploaded, on a regular basis for our knowledge. All our consistent support is required in this regard, in any way. Interestingly, an article of “Eenadu” Newspaper on “Pudurdravidas” was uploaded to our website. Definitely, many of us would have read the article and commented on.Could someone translate that into our necessary evil as English for better understanding, knowledge & appreciation? Greetings to All!!!!
I begin with my humble prayers & respects to our fore-fathers, living elders and regards, respects, wishes and love to my contemporaries and children within our PD Community and above all with a Special Oneness feeling for our PD Community.
Now and then there have always been selfless efforts made towards Welfare of Mankind (Loka Kalyan) as a whole, in this world under different banners etc. I trust there have also been similar efforts within the PD Community itself, by many of our humble souls in the past history for welfare, communion awareness & attitude development. Even in the recent past there have been conservative efforts in the form of PD associations.
Keeping pace with the latest technological developments, a humble effort for us to know each other and get together, in the form of Yahoo! Groups- “pudurdravida” was created by Mr. PKR Sastry (Group Moderator) of which I am also a member. I understand this effort definitely took-off but could not land very much in the minds of PD’ians, as there was no clearance from “Ground Traffic Control”. Personally, I attribute the cause to this effect on to ourselves, our hesitant, shy & diffident attitude and in fact extend these causes for the effects on earlier efforts as well. No hard feelings, Please! There is no harm in making ourselves aware of our weaknesses and to convert them into strengths for our own well being & prosperity.
Another very beautiful, attractive, aggressive but still selfless effort was initiated in our current times in the form of a PD website(www.pudurdravida.com) by our fellow PD’ian, Mr. Melnathuru Yagneshwar Sreekanth (Website Moderator).A confident effort to wake us up from the depths of deep slumber, decades or centuries after and to support us all to get together.
I am sure you are all with me in asserting that Human Relations is of Paramount Importance to us Humans, in this entirety. Even our present Corporate World is keenly focusing on Human Relations through Talent Management. India or the world outside India cannot forget the 26 / 11 incident in Taj Hotel, Mumbai. Mr. Ratan Tata was physically present at the site of incidence with his entourage, within 15 -20 minutes and all the 200 or 300 odd staffers directly or indirectly affected were well taken care by the management taking full moral responsibility.
Why not we take a cue from this leadership, ethical effort and or many incidents or events of the past, recent or history for the sake of ourselves, our PD community? Probably we could gradually even extend this oneness feeling to the whole world on this Planet Earth as a Universal Brotherhood initiative.
I don’t think there are any rules & regulations or guidelines, really, to initiate efforts in this direction. If at all there is anything, it’s only each one’s conscious.
Coming back to the latest efforts initiated, “hats-off”, no doubt, all efforts are great initiatives & noble, basically because they are selfless & are for the Community. Of course then, the attitude, creativity which comes hand-in-glove with involvement.
The Website & the Monthly PD Newsletter, an information exchange lobby, I trust are definitely a good attempt to support our all hidden PD Community Cause. I hope this effort will continuously succeed, in being very informative about the events, people, goings-on of the individual households within the PD Community, take us to the future and remain immortal. With its power of communication to the best in our times across the Globe, it has the advantage in helping us to create Community awareness, sharing of happiness & grief on a common forum and to take us to the future. We all in unison can acknowledge this as a “Perfect Runway” for a smooth landing of any kind of flight, be it Fighter, Bomber, Commercial, Transport or Cargo. In a nutshell an “Inspiration Initiator” for PD Community feeling, is what we can call it.
It is now for one and all within the PD Community to make best use of, think seriously and get together, propagate the Community Oneness feeling within all us PDs’.
I understand associations within PD Community in different areas of PD habitation are already conservatively active and many events organized of which, most of us are unaware. The positive aspect of why people within the Community itself are not aware is the Introverted ness, Selflessness & Unassuming nature(ALL SATHVA GUNAS) of the associates, pre-dominant in India and very much among the PD’ians. Appreciating, this very attitude and rightly deserving, I would humbly request my contemporaries and other younger generation within the PD Community to support the cause by valuable involvement in an aggressive, proactive and enterprising manner with the wise surveillance of the Senior Generation or the Senior Citizens of the PDs’. An open forum of the Community with flexibility and transparency could generate a better association, stand long and benefit by the effort.
I suggest that as PD’ians, we should have regular meetings, get together and personal interactions, even one-to-one, to make ourselves aware of each other, our existence etc.
Our views, ideas, opinions, suggestions etc on various subjects and issues relating to our Community, Individuals, Society could be tabled, shared and supported. Awareness programmes on PD’s History, Heritage, contribution to the world & it’s spread could be organized. Global perspective could be thought of. An AIM’s list could be designed similar to a Quality Policy of an ISO 9000 Company of the Corporate World and spread across the PDs’. Personalities & stalwarts could be honored and PD’s can go public inviting public personalities or other community people for events and earn public or global recognition.
As PD Community are spread across different areas or regions across the Globe, I am of the opinion like many others previously would have opined much ahead in time that there could be meetings arranged area and region wise as also an Annual General Body Meeting(AGM) convened at convenient locations. Agenda, schedule, events itinerary could be communicated. Incidentally, as we may all know from the January 2010 PD Maiden Newsletter, an AGM took place at Nellore end last 2009 and I am confident it was very sincerely well organized and would have turned out a successful event. Minutes of such Meetings could be circulated & put on the WWW for the Community to be aware of the gist of the proceedings.
In my opinion, these kind of humble, selfless effort for Community could be the way to express our Homage or Gratitude to our fore-fathers and great souls in our Community and give our children, descendents or generations to come, a good future, a feeling of existence & a “supporting backbone” thus keep alive the Community, instead of letting it die an anonymous pathetic death.
I have taken the freedom and thus made this humble attempt to communicate to my known PDs’, my thoughts and feelings in the interest of our PD Community and to share my thoughts with my co-PD’ians across the Globe. I would request the recipients to communicate further to other known PDs’ with CC to myself so that I get an opportunity to get to know the other co-PD’ians.
Though this is a lengthy one and would test your patience but I am sure considering the thoughts expressed, it would definitely give another also to think.
Readers, please excuse me for any bad language or expression or any statement that could be offending, as they would have appeared or got expressed inadvertently. However, feel free to share your views and offer your comments.

In a nutshell an “Inspiration Initiator” for PD Community feeling, is what we can call it.
It is now for one and all within the PD Community to make best use of, think seriously and get together, propagate the Community Oneness feeling within all us PDs’.
I understand associations within PD Community in different areas of PD habitation are already conservatively active and many events organized of which, most of us are unaware. The positive aspect of why people within the Community itself are not aware is the Introverted ness, Selflessness & Unassuming nature(ALL SATHVA GUNAS) of the associates, pre-dominant in India and very much among the PD’ians. Appreciating, this very attitude and rightly deserving, I would humbly request my contemporaries and other younger generation within the PD Community to support the cause by valuable involvement in an aggressive, proactive and enterprising manner with the wise surveillance of the Senior Generation or the Senior Citizens of the PDs’. An open forum of the Community with flexibility and transparency could generate a better association, stand long and benefit by the effort.
I suggest that as PD’ians, we should have regular meetings, get together and personal interactions, even one-to-one, to make ourselves aware of each other, our existence etc.
Our views, ideas, opinions, suggestions etc on various subjects and issues relating to our Community, Individuals, Society could be tabled, shared and supported. Awareness programmes on PD’s History, Heritage, contribution to the world & it’s spread could be organized. Global perspective could be thought of. An AIM’s list could be designed similar to a Quality Policy of an ISO 9000 Company of the Corporate World and spread across the PDs’. Personalities & stalwarts could be honored and PD’s can go public inviting public personalities or other community people for events and earn public or global recognition.
As PD Community are spread across different areas or regions across the Globe, I am of the opinion like many others previously would have opined much ahead in time that there could be meetings arranged area and region wise as also an Annual General Body Meeting(AGM) convened at convenient locations. Agenda, schedule, events itinerary could be communicated. Incidentally, as we may all know from the January 2010 PD Maiden Newsletter, an AGM took place at Nellore end last 2009 and I am confident it was very sincerely well organized and would have turned out a successful event. Minutes of such Meetings could be circulated & put on the WWW for the Community to be aware of the gist of the proceedings.
In my opinion, these kind of humble, selfless effort for Community could be the way to express our Homage or Gratitude to our fore-fathers and great souls in our Community and give our children, descendents or generations to come, a good future, a feeling of existence & a “supporting backbone” thus keep alive the Community, instead of letting it die an anonymous pathetic death.
I have taken the freedom and thus made this humble attempt to communicate to my known PDs’, my thoughts and feelings in the interest of our PD Community and to share my thoughts with my co-PD’ians across the Globe. I would request the recipients to communicate further to other known PDs’ with CC to myself so that I get an opportunity to get to know the other co-PD’ians.
Though this is a lengthy one and would test your patience but I am sure considering the thoughts expressed, it would definitely give another also to think.
Readers, please excuse me for any bad language or expression or any statement that could be offending, as they would have appeared or got expressed inadvertently. However, feel free to share your views and offer your comments.
