Life as a Human Being has to be used to liberate moving ahead and ahead on the Higher Plane of Thought. That is our ultimate goal and not just earning Money, Material Possessions, Eating, Sleeping and Just Dying.
In this process of our Worldly life, we committ so many sins ( Many times unawares) selfishness, hatred is prevailing which only generates agitation, distress and peace or love. The love for each other can take us slow and slow up on the path of Higher Plane.
There is a story, which I read somewhere and keeps reminding me often. Here is the Story.
A man once approached a great spiritual master and said, he could not refrain from sinning, had
no morals and was unwilling to reform. He said, yet he did not want to be punished for those sins and asked the master, Was there any way out.
The master replied, there is no way for a man or woman to escape the consequences of his or her actions.
The only way, the master, suggested. Stop sinning. This was impossible for the man as he could not give-up his immoral ways.
The master then asked the man to surrender his sins to the master himself. The man agreed and went away. The man continued with his immoral ways of life and mentally submit the consequences to the spiritual master. But as he did so, his conscious began to trouble him, pricking his thoughts as to why the master who did not wrong should face the consequences of another's sins. This made his eyes wet, yet he did not stop sinning.
In the course of time and in his surrender of sins to the master, the man felt more and more guilty. Ultimately, he could no longer sin and allow the master to face the consequences. He fell at the master's feet and changing his habits. The master's love changed the man's way of life.
Such is the love of great spiritual masters for mankind and their influence / effect on people. Its all nothing short of a miracle. Any imposible can be achieved by true love or ardent devotion.
We must seek such masters and attain liberation. Though being physically alive, yet we are all DEAD when we dont get beyond our everyday life towards something higher and endevaour to achieve our ultimate goal.
